Pharmacy Technician
Help the pharmacy get the right medication to the right patient, every time. The Pharmacy Technician fills orders under pharmacist supervision, prepares IV and sterile products where trained, restocks automated dispensing cabinets on the units, and keeps inventory and records exact.
Requirements
- Pharmacy technician registration or license where your state requires it, or eligibility for a trainee registration
- Exact accuracy with medications, doses, and calculations
- Following sterile compounding and safety procedures
- Restocking and inventory across hospital units
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Completion of background, exclusion-list, and health screening, including TB testing and immunizations per policy, after an offer
Schedule
- 8- or 10-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
