Keep every guest safe in the water. The Lifeguard scans an assigned zone without distraction, rotates through wave pools, lazy rivers, slide landings, and kids' areas, enforces the rules with a smile, and performs rescues and first aid the moment they are needed.
Requirements
- Lifeguard certification (Ellis & Associates, American Red Cross, StarGuard, or equivalent), or completing the park's certification course before your first shift
- Passing the park's in-water skills test
- Constant, focused scanning of your zone
- Calm, fast response to emergencies
- Taking part in regular in-service training and audits
Schedule
- Seasonal day shifts from Memorial Day to Labor Day, including weekends and holidays
